Prof. You was recently notified of his selection for another national award from the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) this year. AIChE is the world’s leading organization for chemical engineering professionals, with more than 60,000 members from over 110 countries. In addition to the 2017 AIChE Sustainable Engineering Research Excellence Award, Prof. You also receives the 2017 AIChE Environmental Division Early Career Award. This award is presented by AIChE to honor an individual with outstanding contributions in Environmental Chemical Engineering in the early stages of the career. Prof. You was recognized for “contributions to Environmental Systems Engineering, including environmental life cycle assessment and optimization and environmentally conscious design and operations of chemical and energy processes.” This award will be officially presented at the 2017 AIChE Annual Meeting in Minneapolis, where prominent award winners are invited to deliver award lectures.
